Accounts Assistant

Holiday Resort Unity & Brean Leisure Park is recruiting for a permanent full time general accounts assistant to join our finance team. This role covers all of our wide-ranging business areas across our busy holiday resort and visitor attractions.

General accounts responsibilities include;

All round accounts experience with basic requirements including an understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger, daily banking and payroll.

  • Income reconciliations
  • Purchase orders
  • Raising invoices
  • Posting journals
  • Daily banking
  • Payroll accounting
  • Any other accounts knowledge advantageous

Experience, disposition and requirements

  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Professional and personable
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Confident in liaising with operational departments
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure
  • Computer literacy and comfortable with various software packages and accounting systems
  • Previous experience of payroll accounting and processes within a medium sized business
  • Demonstrable qualifications e.g., to at least AAT level

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 per year according to experience
