Now is an extremely exciting time to join our trust, as we look at a potential merger between Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and Yeovil District Hospital.  We’re thrilled to be working closely to streamline our care pathways to ensure we provide better care across the country.

We’re looking to welcome a fixed term Associate Directorate Manager to support the current postholder to step into a promotion.  A key player in our senior CSSS leadership team, the ADM will play an important role in holding operational responsibility for the running of services and will play a leadership role in ensuring and consistently developing a high quality support service and workforce across the directorate.

 

Main duties of the job

 

Reporting to the Service Director for CSSS; an important element in this role is the relationships you’ll build with key people from other directorates, the senior leadership team in the directorate and the team of Heads of Department who run services within the directorate.

Building relationships with people outside of the organisation will be vital as we embark on the merger with Yeovil District Hospital and as the Somerset system partners work closely together to deliver joined up care with good value for money.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make the transition from managing one or two services to balancing the needs multiple services within acute & community services, many of which operate countywide.
