Attendance and Outreach Worker
West Somerset College is an all-inclusive College catering for 13 to 18 year olds, situated on the edge of Exmoor National Park.

18 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term time plus INSET days)
BTCT Scale point 7, actual starting salary: £8,402 per annum
Fixed term contract commencing in May 2021 to cover maternity leave for up to one year (or return of the post holder, whichever is soonest)
The core purpose of this role is to lead and manage the monitoring and improvement of student attendance and punctuality.
Applicants will need to have a good standard of education, and will have experience of working with young people in an educational setting. Proven experience of providing pastoral support to students and dealing with behaviour would be highly desirable.
