Behaviour Support Officer

Term time + 2 weeks

Salary £19,656 – £22,578 (LA Grade 12)

subject to pay award pending of at least 1.75%

Local Government Pension Scheme and other benefits

Full time, 37 hours p/week

(40 working weeks + 6.2 weeks paid leave entitlement)

Following internal promotion, we are looking to recruit a new member to the Student Behaviour Team to help students to access learning by providing essential student facing advice, guidance and support, as well as managing challenging behaviour from students struggling in lessons. You will need the skills and knowledge to de-escalate situations and support a student to settle and reflect, provide social and emotional support to the student to encourage re-engagement of learning. To support teaching staff to encourage students to access the full curriculum.
