We are seeking an experienced bike mechanic to join the Critchill Special School staff team for one or possibly two days a week. You will be supported by a member of our Specialist Support staff.
Our Build a Bike programme offers alternative provision for students from local schools on a rolling 6-8 week programme.
Term time only. Fixed term initially until August 2021.
Salary: Service Level Agreement Dependent on experience and qualifications.
Applicants should be suitably qualified:
- Knowledge of an extensive range of cycle equipment as you will be building bikes; identifying faults and deciding what kind of repairs or maintenance are needed.
- Qualification in Cycle Mechanics from a recognised body at level 2 or higher – Cytech, City & Guilds, Cycle Solutions and must have worked in the cycle industry for a minimum of 2 years.
