Business Analyst/Developer

Mid Devon District Council are embarking on an ambitious business transformation project and require an enthusiastic and self-motivated Business Analyst/Developer in ICT to deliver applications and business systems integration for a wide range of our services.

This role will be expected to deliver significant business efficiencies and develop software solutions to meet the specific needs of council service areas.  All work will assist our Channel Shift agenda, using a range of proprietary and industry standard applications and programming languages, e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, SQL, HTML5, ASP.NET MVC (4 OR 5), Team Foundation Server, javascript, C#.

Excellent communication skills are required and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate previous experience in delivering and supporting business transformation using a range of the technologies within a small team.

Candidates must be flexible and willing to work outside normal hours occasionally when appropriate.   Part Time and Job share will be considered.  Multi-site working within Devon may be required and there are home working opportunities available.
