Secret World Wildlife Rescue

Charity Shop Supervisor

Could you join our growing Charity Shop team and help us raise funds for wildlife?

Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR) exists to relieve the suffering of British wildlife, to encourage respect and tolerance for wildlife and to further its conservation. SWWR strives to do this; by providing a public rescue, rehabilitation and release service for injured, sick and orphaned wildlife; through public education and access to a unique wildlife experience; and by disseminating data and delivering professional training to improve knowledge and raise standards of wildlife care across the UK.

After the success of our Burnham-on-Sea Charity shop we are expanding our network of Charity shops to help bring in vital funds to the Charity. They will keep accurate records, sort and manage stock – including rotating stock and using a clear pricing system to maximise possible profits from donated goods. They may also be asked to attend meetings and training at the main SWWR site as well as visiting/covering shifts in SWWR’s other charity shops on occasion.

This role would suit someone currently working at a supervisory level but who is keen to undergo training and work towards a management position.
