
Cullens Catering
We are currently recruiting for a Chef / Cook to work as part of a small team based in the centre of Taunton.
There are a minimum of 20hrs a week (30-40 in the summer months) preparing meals for both internal customers and for delivery plus working on seasonal menus.
Work may require working in more than one location in Taunton and occasionally helping on the bar as and when required. The key asset is flexibility in working hours.
Job role/duties
- Prepare and cook meals daily for customers and delivery
- Employ food safety best practices and ensure kitchen staff do the same
- Stock ordering/stock control
- Clean down kitchen area after each shift
- Meet all Health & Safety requirements
- Preparation/Discussion of menus for individual events
Requirements/Qualifications
- A Minimum of 24 months working in a commercial kitchen as a Chef/cook
- Food Hygiene Certificates
- Reference from former employer.
Salary
- Negotiable depending on experience
