Care Assistant Waking Nights

CL Lifestyles is an established CQC registered care provider in Somerset, we consider care and support services to be a professional service provided by highly trained and trusted care professionals whom we employ and work with.

As a trusted care professional you will provide waking night care and support services for people in their own homes. We provide guaranteed paid contracts to ensure you are paid in full for contracted nights whether a client is allocated to you or not.

A waking night will require you to attend and stay with one client in their home giving one to one support throughout the 9 hour shift from 10pm to 7am.

We offer different contracts to suit see below:

Salary Contract – Guaranteed monthly salary, the same pay each month plus extras we offer 3 or 4 x nights averaged per week to be worked as allocated on a weekly rota and be available on standby four nights per month

  • 4 night average £1888.00 monthly salary or 3 night average £1416.00 monthly salary
  • £12.10 per hour extra shifts (£108.92 per 9 hour shift)
  • £18.15 per hour – standby and bank holiday hours worked
  • Paid holiday & training
  • Mileage pay

Standard Plus Contract – Guaranteed monthly pay – fixed rota – 1, 2, 3 or 4 night rota available and be available on one standby per week

  • £11.29 per hour – (£101.62 per 9 hour shift)
  • £16.94 per hour – standby and bank holiday hours worked
  • Paid holiday & training
  • Mileage pay

No experience in the care sector is necessary as full training, development and support is provided to develop as a care professional from the start of employment and will continue throughout.

Our team of professional care assistants are highly motivated, attentive, and compassionate, we share a commitment to do our very best for the clients we support and each other. We have high expectations of honesty, reliability, and kindness, you may be providing night care and support for:

  • Dementia support and keeping someone safe,
  • End of Life Care supporting quality of life and enabling loved ones to rest.
  • Discharge to Assess (D2A) to support safe hospital discharge.

In addition, you would need to:

  • Have a friendly can-do attitude to enhance night care and support for the clients and the families you support.
  • Be encouraging and tactful to support and improve client’s independence.
  • Be able to access and use company apps, complete online training modules and video call meetings via your own smart phone, tablet or laptop
  • Be reliable to ensure care and support is provided in a safe and consistent way for clients who may be vulnerable.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • To be able and willing to travel, have full use of a vehicle and a full driver’s licence to drive in the UK

Immediate start is available if you have an enhanced DBS registered with the update service, if not a DBS will be applied for on induction.
