Community Venues Officer
We are looking to recruit a Community Venues Officer, based at The Campus, Weston-super-Mare.
The Campus is a multi-use building located in the heart of Locking Castle, Weston-super-Mare. You will help deliver a range of services from Sports and Leisure to Library and Conferences/Meeting Spaces to a wide variety of users and customers, over several venues in North Somerset.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of working in a busy customer facing environment and be able to balance work demands within a multi-disciplined environment. The post holder will help co-ordinate and administrate the wide-ranging programme of block and ad hoc bookings, based across North Somerset that The Campus oversees. Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills are essential as well as the ability to work unsupervised for much of the time.
The successful postholder will have a clean UK driving license and will be required to cover operational shifts, which may include evenings and weekends.
This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
