•    Support the MEH Alliance Logistics Lead in ensuring all MEH Alliance Logistics activities are undertaken safely and responsibly.
•    Support the MEH Alliance Logistics Lead in managing the interfaces between the MEH JV partners and Wilson James (WJ) to ensure a smooth project logistics delivery.
•    Deputise for the MEH Alliance Logistics Lead in all matters during his absence.
•    Ensure that the Wilson James SOA contract is monitored, managed and delivered to ensure best for project safe and efficient logistics.
•    Conduct all due diligence checks of WJ payment applications and be the primary link between WJ and NNB commercial teams.
•    Initial point of MEHA review for all WJ proposed Compensation Events.
•    Focal Point for all Building Access Area (BAA) planning and forecasting, and principal lead for delivery of all BAAs.
•    MEH Alliance lead for all HSE and Quality learning reports on logistics matters.
•    Identify and implement Best Practice/Continuous Improvement throughout the project logistics functions.
•    Assist the MEH Alliance Logistics Lead with the planning and execution of logistics for the MEH Alliance partners on a day-to-day basis.
•    Deputise for the MEH Alliance Logistics Lead on all WAF creation and maintenance as required.
•    Principal liaison with Wincanton on offsite storage matters.
•    Liaise with all NNB and MEH Alliance departments on construction logistics matters.
•    Promote and maintain health and safety through the HPC Way, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being implemented in support of a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.
•    Ensure compliance with all nuclear safety and site licence requirements
•    Ensure resources to meet organisational requirements are approved and available in line with the delivery schedule.
•    Ensure logistics services for the project are delivered within budget.
•    Line manage any Altrad personnel hired in non WJ logistics roles (such as plant operators/Handypersons).
•    Expected to conduct regular site visits to ensure awareness of evolving site conditions.




Minimum Qualifications/ Experience
(as per MEH matrix)

o    Degree Qualification (or Equivalent)
o    Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or Higher)
o    IOSH managing safely


•    Experience
o    Proven track record in managing logistics contractors.
o    Experience working on major construction projects.
o    Experience in managing logistics suppliers and large teams.
o    Experienced in delivering and operating as a Team Manager, including experience working with Joint Ventures.

Additional Qualifications/ Experience:  
•    Experience or knowledge in construction activities surrounding mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems would be beneficial.
•    Communicate with, influence and manage stakeholder relationships, and role model the HPC Way.
•    Positive, can-do mentality.
•    Proven track record of success.
•    Strong leader with collaborative nature.
•    Ability to reach sensible compromise position.
•    Strong focus on team performance, training, mentoring and integration with client, Alliance and contractor teams.
