Digital Programme Manager

We are seeking candidates with a broad range of experience and transferable skills in the management and delivery of Digital Transformation at scale, to give programme managerial leadership.

To support this programme, we require a skilled, motivated and enthusiastic digital programme manager to work in a dynamic team, inclusive of both internal and external stakeholders. The postholder will have good interpersonal skills, the ability to negotiate with and motivate members of staff. We are looking for an individual who is able to forward plan, has outstanding communication and listening skills.

The Digital Programme Manager will be a leader within the team, with an extensive programme and digital delivery track record. The post holder will be responsible for delivering against the digital strategy for the organisation, through an exciting transformational and innovative programme of work.

The base for this role is County Hall, Taunton but we are a flexible employer so the opportunity to work from other locations including home will be considered. As part of the wider health care system in Somerset, this role will include close working with system partners.


Main duties of the job


The Digital Programme Manager is a senior position, responsible for the delivery of high quality, digitally enabled projects, as part of a designated programme of work.
The post holder will work in partnership with the Head of Applications Services, Digital Change Manager, Digital Support Services Manager, clinical Digital leadership and other senior managers to deliver the Digital Services objectives.
