  • A comprehensive understanding of managing and organising finances and budgets.
  • Experience of making informed judgements and decisions

This is a challenging but interesting role where you will be asked to advise the Business Manager and Headteacher on the short and medium term financial status of the school and its component services on a regular basis. You will also be encouraged to use your experience and professionalism to develop and maintain financial systems that will ensure the quality and accuracy of school’s financial information.

We are a successful and welcoming primary school where children are at the heart of everything we do. We can offer the successful candidate a happy school with wonderful children along with a friendly and supportive staff team.

We are ambitious for all our children and strive to give them the best facilities and the fullest range of opportunities possible. This is reflected in recent and planned capital projects, our extensive extended school provision, the wide-ranging enrichment activities, visits and trips we offer, along with our recent return to onsite catering. It is an exciting time to join our school, and this is an exciting career opportunity which gives the suitable candidate a chance to help us make a difference.

We are proud of our school and visits are warmly welcomed. If you would like to see us in action and learn more about us, please contact the school office on 01823 282125. Mary Scott, our business manager, will be delighted to show you around. Alternatively, if you would like any further information you can call her on the same number for an informal chat.
