We are recruiting for a Help Desk Officer in Exeter.
Based at Service Headquarters, Clyst St. George Exeter, EX3 0NW
37 hours per week
Salary Grade 3, £20493 – £22183 per annum
Closing Date: Friday 22 January 2021 at 09.00
Due to the impending Maternity Leave of the current post-holder Devon and Somerset Fire & Rescue Service are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual on a temporary basis for a period of approximately nine months to be the first point of contact for Estates related enquiries.
The Helpdesk Officer performs a crucial co-ordination role which supports a number of the important services delivered by the Estates Department.
Candidates will need:-
- Experience of working in a dedicated Helpdesk/ Customer Service role
- A knowledge of basic office systems and procedures
- A word processing/ IT related qualification(s)
- The ability to work on own initiative or as a member of a busy team
A basic knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation is desirable.
