Housekeeping Operative

The HPC Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.

To support the housekeeping Team Lead in the organisation of the cleaning schedules and work patterns for the individual flow team within which you will work

• Ensure cleaning duties are carried out in a manner consistent with good Health & Safety Practice (eg. colour coding)
• Maintaining the stock of cleaning materials required by the flow team within which you work.
• To embrace the vision of a ‘Cleaning Structure’ and demonstrate this to your colleagues
• To provide appropriate care and maintenance for the materials and equipment they use to carry out their duties
• To ensure that cleaning in your area of responsibility is conducted to the highest possible standard contributing towards our aim of a being a leader in the field of Cleaning Services.
• To ensure that at all times, the image of the contract reflects the professional image of the Company
• To attend training as and when required
• To ensure that you are adhering to the contracts uniform policy, wearing appropriate Personal protective Equipment (PPE) to carry out the various duties.
• To support with the duties other ‘Housekeeping Teams’ as outlined within the ‘HPC Structure’

 

Qualifications and experience: 

  • Good understanding of English Language and Writing skills necessary
  • Previous cleaning experience and working as a team would be advantageous.
  • Previous knowledge of COSHH
  • Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and timekeeping
  • Experience in undertaking a range of cleaning duties
  • Able to work in an organised and methodical manner
  • Ability to act on own initiative
  • Willingness to participate in further training/development
  • Flexible and Reliable
  • Premier Customer Care Skills
  • Punctual
  • Enthusiastic and flexible approach

Lates or Alternating Shifts available
Shift pattern permanent lates
22 days annual leave

 

Late Pattern

Monday – Thursday hours 1330-2200,

Friday Hours 1230-2000

 

Saturday hours

0800-1700

Sunday hours 0800-1600

 

Alternating Shift pattern is a week of early shifts then a week of late shifts.
Early Pattern –

Monday – Thursday hours 0530-1400,

Friday hours 0530-1300,

Late Pattern

Monday – Thursday hours 1330-2200,

Friday Hours 1230-2000
Saturday hours 0800-1700 and Sunday hours 0800-1600

 

Annual Salary: £20,101.54
