Learning Mentor

Salary: Grade: 5 (£18,933 -£19,698 fte, £14,241 -£14,816 actual)

Contract:  32.5 hours per week, term time plus training days, on a fixed term basis for one year

Start:   As soon as available

Closing date: 9.00am on Thursday 02 September 2021

Interviews: It is hoped that the interviews will take place as soon as possible after the closing date

We require enthusiastic and flexible Learning Mentors to join our experienced Learning Support team. You will need a passion for working with young people to achieve their potential at Key Stage 4 and have the skills and ability to support in a range of subject areas and deliver one-to-one academic or emotional mentoring and/or sport one-to-one.

You are asked to provide the following:

  • A completed Gryphon application form
  • A letter of application of no more than 2 sides of A4 detailing your experience and expertise
