Part Time Support Worker (Taunton)
Introduction
We have a part time opportunity for a passionate and flexible support staff worker to join us supporting a young man with learning disabilities to move into his new home near Taunton in Somerset.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the next step in this young man’s journey, but you will need to be an active individual and have a passion for the outdoors, and in particular walking and running as these are two hobbies that are a key part of this persons support.
Although previous experience is desirable, it is not essential.
Being a driver, with access to a car for work purposes, is essential for this role as you will be required to support this young man with accessing the local and wider community as part of his support and transition. Mileage paid at 0.43p per mile.
This post also has opportunities to work across our location in Langport, with further hours available.
