Part Time Teaching Assistant
Hours: 26.25 hours per week; Monday – Friday 9:00 – 3:15pm
Working Weeks: 38 working weeks – term time only
Pay: Grade 15 – £9.62 per hour
The Governors are seeking to appoint, from September 2021, a Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis to work 26 hours and 15 minutes per week. The successful candidate will be confident in working as a class Teaching Assistant, supporting groups with the ability to lead small intervention and support groups. We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, kind and caring, and will assist the Class Teacher in the development and implementation of a programme of work in the provision of a stable, caring and supporting learning environment, which enables the pupils to achieve their full potential.
On occasions there will be Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) responsibilities; to provide release time for the Class Teacher and teach the class. During these times pay will be adjusted accordingly (Grade 12).
