Personal Assistant to Chief Executive

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Council at a time when we are digitally transforming how we provide services to our customers, and how we work.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team and provide effective and efficient administrative support to the CEO, and Strategic Director.

The successful candidate will have experience in handling complex calendar scheduling and e-mails, co-ordinate and plan meetings, have excellent organisational and communication skills. The postholder will work closely with a wide variety of partners and stakeholders such as elected members of the Council and other Local Authorities. You will be calm and confident, solutions-focused, with a demonstrable ability to pre-empt problems.

The successful candidate will need to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
