Property Manager – Project & Costs Management


Permanent Post

37 hours per week

 Based at: Service Headquarters, Clyst St George, Exeter

Salary: Grade 8 – £40,876 – £43,857 per annum. Appointments are normally made at the bottom of the Grade.

Closing date: Monday 31st May 2021 at 23:59hrs

The Selection Process is likely to take place on 23rd / 24th June 2021.

We are seeking a self-motivated, hardworking individual to work in partnership with the Senior Property Manager and the Head of Estates to maintain and improve Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Authority’s (DSFRA) property stock to a high standard.

The successful candidate should ideally be a member of a recognised professional body such as the RICS, CIOB, IAM etc. and must be able to lead and manage a diverse range of Estates related projects.

Skills and experience should include financial management skills, good report writing, communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to lead and manage construction projects from project conception through to completion. The successful candidate should also have experience of CAD systems, undertaking surveys and working with contractors, suppliers, statutory bodies, senior management and staff at all levels of the Organisation.
