As the Range and Data Planner, you will be responsible for managing the range selection process across all routes to market.
Communicate trading period category metrics to market teams to inform range building.
➢ Proactive management of the Range selection calendar, capturing Unified and Domestic range change activity across all routes to market.
➢ Work with the Commercial Dof’s to report and prioritise the proposed range changes in line with business capacity and metrics
➢ Agree milestone timings with senior stakeholders, and brief teams accordingly.
➢ Own the structure of the Consol Sheet for range building, and ensure that these are completed fully for review and onward communication
➢ Own the format of the final Range Review Sign-off presentation template, updating where necessary on a trading period basis.
➢ On a trading period basis, own the schedule of meetings for cross-functional review of category range selections and final sign-off. Facilitate the meetings, and follow up to ensure that Commercial Dof sign off in place and agreed actions are followed through
➢ Responsible for creating and maintaining Master Range List for each trading period and ensuring there is always full data integrity.
➢ Ensure that Stock Status is correct in publications and proofed accordingly
➢ Regularly provide updates to stakeholders of the range change activity taking place, and flag changes to the plan.
➢ Develop management of data to increase ease of querying and ensure that data structures are flexible to changes moving forward
➢ Work in conjunction with Commercial Planning team to develop relevant internal business processes to better reflect the continued growth of the business?
Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query / Get and Transform, and VBA.
➢ Presenting to senior stakeholders multiple and complex data
➢ Able to interpret large amounts of data
➢ Confident and comfortable leading and facilitating meetings, including with Senior Managers
➢ Commercially minded, and able to identify commercial opportunities from reported data
➢ Highly numerate
➢ Confident communicator with the ability to research and present your ideas
➢ The ability to work cross functionally with other related functions (e.g. Market Team, Supply Chain, Marketing, QA, TC Op’s, Pricing, and Campaign)
➢ Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
➢ Highly organised, ideally with Project Management skills
➢ Excellent attention to detail
➢ Assertive, with strong influencing skills
