Newlife

We are recruiting for a Sales Assistant for our new store in Yeovil.

At Newlife, our mission, simply put, is to change the lives of disabled children and their families. We provide access to the vital equipment they rely on, offer information and support through our team of dedicated healthcare professionals, sponsor pioneering medical research into the causes of birth defects and offer families a voice through our campaigns for change.

We are not like any other charity. All the stock in our stores is new, donated by retailers, allowing us to create a heaven for bargain hunters and savvy fashionista shoppers who want high street products at discount prices.

What we do and how we do it is unique and being a “Newlifer” is very special. Our team members are passionate about what they do and the contribution they make in helping the families we work with.

The Opportunity:

No two days are the same as due to the nature of the business the product type can change.

We are looking for someone who is confident and able to communicate across all levels, who is reliable and flexible, with great attention to detail and able to work as part of a team to achieve goals and targets.

Duties include:

  • Delivering high levels of customer service, merchandising and replenishment.
  • Supporting with stock preparation
  • Complete cashing up of store takings as scheduled with your Line Manager

The organisation culture is based on a clear Mission, Vision and Values (MVV) which you will drive throughout your team, by role modelling the behaviours at all times.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who is confident and able to communicate across all levels, who is reliable and flexible, with great attention to detail and able to work as part of a team to achieve goals and targets.

The role would suit someone who has either previous experience in retail / customer service or who has skills that are transferable to this role. Full training will be given.

The closing date for this position is Friday 27th November 2020
