Security Patrol Officer/SIA Doorman

Brean Leisure Park and Holiday Resort Unity is a family owned holiday resort that has been trading for over 75 years. The Resort covers 8 miles of roads and over 200 acres of land. The resort consists of 700+ Caravans, Pods, Touring pitches, Restaurants, Arcades, Entertainment venues, Water Park and Soft Play Centre.

We require Security Patrol officers to undertake a variety of duties to create a safe and secure environment for holiday makers at our large holiday resort in Brean, near Burnham On Sea Sea.

Duties of a security patrol officer include:

• Completing patrols of the resort by vehicle and foot.
• Problem resolution for our guests relevant to the situation
• Alarming and de-alarming buildings.
• Responding to customer calls regarding electric, gas trips and alarm activations
• Responding to emergency situations, accidents, fire, disturbances etc
• Taking a professional diplomatic approach to a variety of situations.

Skills/ experience required.

• Driving licence
• First aid certificate desired (although training can be provided)
• SIA badge desired (although training can be provided)
• Previous experience within the security industry/public service environment
• Experience of communicating with members of the public and dealing with difficult situations.

Hours/ shifts

• Full time, or Part Time posts available
• Patrol Shifts 8pm-8am
• SIA Door Shifts 5pm – 1am

Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week

Salary: £9.94-£11.00 per hour
