An opportunity has arisen for two staff to join Mendip Hub as single point of access administration staff. This is a 7 day a week service running between the hours of 8-10pm. It will involve taking telephone calls from patients and carer’s, other health care professionals. Working closely with the integrated teams and within the neighbourhood.

West Mendip Single point of access Hub, is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Team.

The admin role will involve working with the team in the Hub taking call for  the integrated teams predominantly at present for the District Nurse team, the Hub role at present may be subject to some change. The role is based at West Mendip Hospital and at present the Hub covers the service seven days a week 8-10pm.

Any candidates should be confident with telephone conversations with all members of multidisciplinary teams and with patients and relatives.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Covering Hub within the hours of 8-10pm for a seven day a week service. Working at either West Mendip office or Frome office to cover the Mendip neighborhood hub.

Administration and telecommunications are the main aspect of the role. Also working within the integrated teams to provide and Admin service.
