Social Media Manager
We are looking for an individual or company to provide scheduled content on our social media channels.
This content should be engaging, promoting the strengths of Minehead as an event, retail and visitor destination and be supported by good quality images.
Our target audiences are local residents in a 20-mile radius of Minehead, day visitors and those considering coming here on holiday.
The aim of the commission is to make Visit Minehead the one-stop platform for promoting Minehead.
Knowledge of Minehead, the businesses within and the challenges and opportunities that would exist with this commission would be an essential requirement.
Duration of commission
The social media commission would initially be for a 2-month trial running from 1st November to 31st December 2021 with a potential extension through to the completion of the BID’s first term in June 2023.
We would expect a service to be operated Monday to Friday throughout this commission with scheduled content on weekends or public holidays, attendance at BID supported events would be encouraged.
The successful person/team would work with the BID Manager Andrew Hopkins and Marketing Sub-Group Chair Alison Prior.
