Trainee Boning Hall Butcher
Our Boning Hall team in Langport are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals who are keen to carve a career as a butcher.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop and learn new skills from de-boning to cutting and trimming; where you will have the opportunity to rotate around a number of different jobs (after training) and become a multi-skilled butcher.
Salary – £450 – £500/week after training
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for:
* Boning and trimming beef in line with customer orders and specifications
* Maximising the yield of the product and minimising waste to ensure production is as efficient as possible
* Maintain and adhere to company health, safety and quality policies
* Embrace training opportunities and take ownership of your own personal development
Knowledge and Experience
Previous knife handling skills and some experience of butchery is essential. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, have good communication skills, be willing and keen to learn, and have great timekeeping.
