UX Design Manager
The Global UX Design Manager puts the customer at the heart of everything we do. You will be a key advocate in cultivating and supporting a customer centric culture within Clarks and our Digital initiatives.
Using a collaborative cross-departmental Design Thinking approach you will work to develop our ability to connect with customers, enabling conversion and retention, easing pain points and creating a unique brand experience, all underpinned by robust analytics.
You will be a visionary of strategic UX Design thinking at Clarks as well as an innovator of best practices, scalable workflows and processes, delivering value from discovery through to implementation. As an inspirational manager, you will lead a small team of UX designers and work with them to continuously improve our methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria.
You will have designed, developed and built digital products and experiences, ideally, you’ve gained this expertise in an online retail role, but if you have a different background, we’d still like to hear from you.
Through your deep understanding of design fundamentals around layout and digital mediums, you will be able to quickly develop customer testable prototypes that are technically feasible to build.
You understand the principals and process of mobile first and responsive design of websites.
You know the best practice of AGILE, SCRUM, LEAN and can apply it but also adapt to what’s needed at the time to produce the best outcome.
