Veterinary Receptionist / Animal Care Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a new team member.
Your role will involve being the first point of contact for clients and the general public both on the telephone and in person whilst demonstrating a professional and knowledgeable impression to promote the Practice and give confidence to our clients.
You will also be required to assist with the front of house during busy surgery times and to manage requests for prescription medications, insurance claims and billing queries.
Various daily cleaning duties will be required as well as assisting nurses and vets in basic clinical tasks including animal handling, kennel work, blood sampling and testing, laboratory packaging and dispatch, logging work on the practice management system, handling enquiries via email and internal messaging systems, cashing up and submitting end of day reports.
