Fantastic News! We have have been shortlisted for the Somerset Business Awards 2023
Some of the best businesses in Somerset are being recognised on the shortlist for the Somerset Business Awards. We entered the “Investing in Somerset” category which is sponsored by Hinkley Point C.
Somerset Jobs started in 2020, launching in the first lockdown which presented it’s own challenges. We have been busy bee’s growing the platform and expanding in more ways than one.
In March 2022 we held our first ever Jobs Fair in Taunton and have held two others in Yeovil and again in Taunton which was the Town’s biggest ever Jobs Fair.
Due to demand for services we have also grown the website to a new platform for the job adverts which launched in September 2022 and named it Job Shop South West.
Roll on 2023 as we’re excitited to continue to make an impact in the sector.

“I’m so excited about the Somerset Business Awards shortlisting, it’s such a prestigious event. When it was announced from Somerset Chamber of Commerce, who run the event, I couldn’t stop smiling. It’s been a fun couple of years building the business up, a lot of late nights and hard work. It’s such an honour to be recognised”.
The Somerset Business Awards are in it’s 18th year, the winners are scheduled to be announced at a black-tie event on 24th March 2023 at the Winter Gardens Pavilion in Weston-Super-Mare. To find out more visit the Somerset Chamber of Commerce website .
